Bouncing around Albania in the fastest pace I’ve traveled so far has been a test to my patience and an eye opening experience to the amount of gratitude I have for my current lifestyle. The fact that I get to ✨choose✨ the amount of time that I can experience something is a privilege I can’t get over. I remember the days of weekend getaways, week long trips to places I’ve always heard of and sneaking in days here and there just to get a taste of traveling. Yet, here I am, in Albania, choosing to have a two week trip when I can spend as much time as I want.
Thoroughly enjoying all the beauty that Albania has to offer. Honestly, if my friend didn’t invite me on this trip, it wouldn’t have been at the top of my list of places to visit. Underrated, spectacular and filled with rich history and culture, Albania is becoming one of the destinations I highly recommend. The people are incredibly kind, curious and respectful. The food is great, especially for vegetarians and even in peak summer season, you will find solace and pockets of peace.
A collection of moments from my brief trip to Greece as a planned 1 month turned into 1.5 weeks that flew by. I’ll be back when it’s not peak tourist season. Say yes to opportunities that pop up that seem out of your comfort zone. Be flexible and shift your plans. If the destination is certain, enjoy the pit stops along the way. 😌🤍💙

Traveling light means I can’t bring all the books I want to read with me. I was watching ‘Cheaper by the Dozen’ and saw one of the characters reading this book. My curiosity led me to purchasing it and it’s been one of the best investments. There’s a daily meditation, great for contemplating and setting an intention each day, especially when being on the road means more spontaneity and less time for routine and structure. This has kept me grounded many days I’ve struggled to find stillness and peace within myself.
Hi cuties! I am living and loving on Greece. Granted I’ve only been in Athens for one full day but first impressions are usually right for me. It’s a beautiful city, like a living museum with soooo much to see and do but also nothing to see and do if you want. Live music on the streets, buildings to die for and the freshest type of veggies and fruits you could ask for. It’s also so romantic and makes me think of love 💕
